The Ashlands boss and Valheim's current final fight — 25,000 HP of emerald flame. The Fissure attack will kill full Flametal in seconds if you stop moving.
| Offering | 3× Bell (placed around the arena) |
| Where to find it | Place 3 Bells around the coliseum arena. Each Bell is crafted from 3× Bell fragment — so 9 fragments total — and fragments are found in the Charred Fortresses scattered across the Ashlands. |
| Altar location | The summoning arena is a coliseum-like structure in the Ashlands, labelled The Emerald Flame on the map. Its Vegvisir is in the central tower of Charred Fortresses. |
| Boss HP | 25,000 |
| Recommended gear | Flametal armour (max protection) or the Ask set + Ashen cape (better stamina/mobility), and Fire-resistance barley wine — basically mandatory here. |
| Weak to | ☠️ Poison — he takes it normally (the opposite of regular Charred enemies), which is why nature magic and poison damage shine. |
| Resists | 🏹 Pierce (bows, spears and crossbows hit softer). |
| Immune to | 🔥 Fire AND 👻 Spirit, plus Chop and Pickaxe. |
Attacks to watch
Step-by-step strategy
Magic is the easiest route. The Staff of the Wild is the standout — it roots him in place, builds vine walls, and he takes its poison damage. Pair it with the Trollstav (your trolls are fire-immune and tank him) and a Staff of Protection.
Run an Embla set with the Queen's power and a Lingering Eitr mead to keep the staves fed.
Melee? Berserkir axes are top DPS and stamina-efficient, or use Nidhögg / a Flametal mace. The Root Harnesk (pierce resist) can beat the Flametal chest, since every melee attack he has is pierce.
Ranged works but is slow (he resists pierce): a Storm Fang / Ash Fang bow with Frost arrows does the most, circling the huge, slow target.
Keep Fire-resistance barley wine and the Bonemass power up, wall off the arena exterior to keep Ashlands mobs out, and keep a backup portal — the arena gets wrecked.
Above all: keep moving. The Fissure is what kills people who try to facetank.

| Trophy | Fader trophy |
| Materials | Fader relic ×5 |
| What it unlocks | Fader relics are the top-tier Ashlands crafting material. As the current final boss, he's the end of the progression — Deep North isn't released yet. |
Fader is boss 7 of 7 — the Ashlands Forsaken. Nothing further yet — Fader is the current final boss. The Deep North biome is unfinished, so his relics cap the crafting tree for now.

One Forsaken down — here's the rest of the run.
