Place 3 Dragon eggs on her altar high in the Mountains. Eggs are in Drake nests on the peaks and weigh 200 each, so use the Megingjord belt or place them straight onto the altar without picking them up.

What is Moder weak to?

Fire. Note she is immune to frost, so the Frostner does nothing — fight with a Silver sword in melee, or a Draugr Fang bow (Needle or Obsidian arrows out-damage even Fire) at range.

What does Moder drop?

Dragon tears (used to build the Artisan Table for black-metal-tier crafting) plus the Moder Forsaken Power: +300 carry weight, frost resistance and +10% movement speed.

Where to find it	Dragon eggs sit in nests on high Mountain peaks where Drakes circle. Each egg weighs a brutal 200, so wear the Megingjord belt (+150 carry) from Haldor — or drop the eggs straight onto the three altar bowls without ever picking them up.
Altar location	Her altar is high in the Mountains. The Vegvisir is found in ruined Mountain structures, usually near the peaks.

How to Beat Moder

Boss HP	7,500
Recommended gear	Silver/Wolf armour, a Silver sword or Iron mace, a Silver shield, and a Draugr Fang bow with Needle or Obsidian arrows. Frost-resistance mead helps with the biome.
Weak to	🔥 Fire.
Resists	—
Immune to	🧊 Frost (so Frostner is useless here), Spirit, Stagger.

Attacks to watch

Bite & claw — her grounded melee. High damage but slow; block with a Silver shield or step around her.
Icicle shotgun — while airborne she spits a spread of frost icicles that leave breakable ice crystals. Strafe sideways.
Cold breath — a 30 m frost beam from the air. Don't stand in the line; keep moving laterally.

Step-by-step strategy

Most of your damage lands in melee when she touches down — a Silver sword (not Frostner; she's frost-immune) or Iron mace into her face between attacks.

Prefer ranged and safety? Arrow priority is Needle > Obsidian > Fire > Poison — Fire is her weakness, but Obsidian still out-damages it.

Throw up a quick hoe pillar or wall for cover from her airborne attacks, and refresh frost-resistance mead so the biome doesn't chip you down.

Clear Drakes and Stone Golems from the arena first, and don't start at night when wolves roam.

She's genuinely easier to dodge than Bonemass — patience beats her even without top-tier gear.
